Our PhD student Sophia Henriette Kolbinger, known to most as Henry, has recently successfully defended her PhD thesis “Have you tried turning the light off and on again? - Mechanistic studies on the impact of light on thiomolybdates for the homogeneous light-driven hydrogen evolution reaction”.
Henry worked closely with collaborators within the TRR 234 “CataLight” and has made major steps forward in using dynamic irradiation in light-driven hydrogen evolution using thiomolybdate catalysts.
